Centring and holding the maiden aspect of our women is integral to reclaiming the many scattered and fragmented parts of self. The maiden really gets a bad rap; she can become almost like a dumping ground for all of our frustrations about the more immature aspects of our psyche. Yet she has held so much, so often and in our modern day society - she mostly does this with little help or guidance. Often our own Mothers can be stuck in their own maiden archetypes.
So, let’s wrap our own arms around our own maidens and create a space where what she was asked to walk through and endure - is honoured.
