STILLNESS IN MOTION

Scene Two: Connection

A testament to three different states of our journey, within the context of being still whilst moving.

Once in the chaos we find a place, a new invitation to pause and reconsider, to reconnect to what is true. To find rest and see what is at the heart of things.

We give ourselves permission to feel that which is our own and then feel that of others.

Connection happens here.

It feels as if chaos has invited us to look deeply into things and remember what needs to be embodied, what needs to be said, how we need to touch and how to touch others.

 SCENE 2: CONNECTION

Waves rise
Under a lotus leaf
My heart is moved to touch you.

- Toshiro Miramoto

It is a creative process. Once we have traversed the fragmentation and mess of our journeys we are called to bask in this discomfort and tension, and allow for the mystery to surface. This magic shows up as the glimmers of the muse that invites us to dance in spite of all the fog.

We touch her light, the muse invites us to listen to her whispers and reclaims a space to reconnect again to our souls. To that sacred place where we gather with our own and then we are able to connect with the rest of the world around us.

When she touches us, our heart is moved, waves rise from within to touch others in our sphere of influence. We are reminded of the authentic voice that dances and wants to be embodied so that we not only quench our own thirst but nurture the spaces around.

From chaos, to connection. A reminder of what is possible when we gather back to centre.

“In the middle of the journey of our life, I came to myself within a dark wood where the straight way was lost. How hard a thing it is to tell what a wild and rough and stubborn wood this was, which in my thought renews the fear.”

- Dante Alighieri, The Divine Comedy

If we were to trust that there are no straight lines to the path, that in the middle of the dark woods, we will eventually hear the whispers of soul calling us back to connection, back to skinship, gathering our pieces and then knowing that where we are is where we need to be. So that in saying this words to ourselves we are tending to our hearts and allowing the connection to emerge powerfully.

Let us say these words out loud together:

“Now, I know, I am always right where I need to be.
The place where (put the name here of a person that is hurting now) is, is the right and only place she/he/they can be. And I trust all shall be well.
And all manner of things shall be exceeding well.
Now I know, I am always right where I need to be”

As you start do dance and feel a new embodiment of potential… your attention shifts.

“Time wasted rationalizing the mediocre

could be time spent creating the magnificent”

- Jen Sincero

Once our attention grows into potential, we are no longer conduits for shame, for resentment, for lower realms, and we step into the light of what is possible. A new alignment to our skin glowing, to our soul singing, to our body dancing, to our muse redirecting the chaos into a creative portal.

Connection, realignment, finding the centre, cultivating a focus that grows us.

To ponder:

What suffering can you put down?

What self-imposed oppression can you put down?

Coming from a weekend retreat of gorgeous souls from the Collective Energies, we were invited to remember why it is an art to gather. Why it matters. When we gather we remember to embrace our light again, we are invited to let go of the rationalising, we make space for what is meaningful, we are invited to dance in the mystery of the creative energies that flourish as we do. We tend to our skin, we wake up to our whispers, we expand our wings, and rise our waves to touch each other´s hearts.

We remember that we belong.

An Invitation to our Collective Collaboration:

Celebrating the idea of connection during this summer we would love to invite you to share with us your images of what it means to be connected.

Let this process be an expression of what it means to come from chaos back to the centre. How would this be expressed without words, within an image?

It could be anything.

We’re interested in what it means to you personally?

We will create a gallery of your unique explorations and interpretations and present them with Scene 3 of our Creative Muse.

Send your images to: info@thecollectiveenergies.com

Deadline: 1st August 2021 12PM BST

May we remember to rise together and connect to what is possible.

To grow and give life to what matters the most.

With love and respect

Grounding Ourselves In Community

This practice helps us remember that we belong, at the very heart of who we are. Like an invocation wrapped in a meditation, it grounds us physically through the body, and where we are situated in space, in the feeling of a community that supports and inspires. And prepares us to embody qualities to nourish ourselves and those around us. All you need for this is a comfortable space in which to sit or lay down.
